The next three years are crucial to the future of the new Henderson/Massey Ward with knowledge, experience and commitment the key to achieving the expectations of the residents in the new Auckland City. In the last six years as Chairman of the Local Community Board we have achieved significant improvements and funding as advocated by the residents. I am independent, outspoken with financial expertise and passionate about the grassroots community. A team player who can work and clearly communicate with diverse groups of people using partnerships, common sense and determination. A proud long time resident who has raised three daughters here and spent many years as a volunteer in a wide range of community and sporting activities for which I was awarded an MNZM Queens Honour. I am always available and believe in common sense decisions for a better future and commit myself to working fulltime for our community.
