Nga mini nui ki a koutou. Tena koutou katoa. My name is Edward Moses. My partner, of 26 years and I have three children and a mokopuna. Through my whakapapa I am related to the five tribes of Muriwhenua and its many Hapu. My fathers Hapu is Pohotiare and my mothers is Ngati Kuri. Both Hapu are on the shores of the Parengarenga harbour. I agreed to this nomination when asked by Kaumatua of the Taumata Kaumatua of the Hapu/Whanau of Muriwhenua to be a voice for them on council matters. I have been involved with the Taumata for over ten years and it currently represents 30 Hapu. I am currently working for Top Energy (25 years) as a lineman faultman. I have been a committee member of the Muriwhenua Incorporation for the last eight years and have been involbed with Aquaculture Forestry and the Bee industry respectively.
