Desley has a proven track record of local government leadership as the current Chair of the Hobson Community Board. If you elect Desley, you receive a commitment to keep   strong community consultation, collaboration and careful spending to maximize ratepayer benefit to the community.

In particular Desley wants to see the implementation of the Orakei Basin Restoration Plan and surrounding walkway on which she has worked during this term.

Desley is a third generation Orakei ward resident, who has had a strong working life within the ward. Her community giving has included helping Life Education Trust, Project K, the Foundation for Youth Development, Kiwi Can, Stella Trust and the Auckland Regional Charity Hospital.  Always heavily involved in music education she has assisted many schools in the ward at the APPA Town Hall Music Festivals.

Please vote for Doug Armstrong  for Council and all our local Citizens and Ratepayers Orakei Board candidates.
