With the advent of the new Auckland Council, Des will defend Franklin from The City. He is committed to ensuring that the Region reaches its future potential and that regional growth complements and enhances the rural business entities which are important in growing the prosperity of Franklin. As a life−long resident of the area, Des has a good understanding of the issues facing Franklin.
