Tuakau resident, married to Dorothy, two adult children, Onewhero−Tuakau Community Board member nine years, six years as chairperson, and six years current Southern Ward
Councillor.

During my time on the Community Board and as Council representative for the Southern Ward, I have actively advocated for improvements, upgrading of infrastructure for the ward,
including water reticulation, new supply requirements, wastewater, sewerage, and stormwater systems upgrade, increase in road maintenance, seal extension and footpaths,
improvements in our parks, reserves and for the reinstatement of rail services through Franklin including stations at Tuakau and Mercer.

With the transfer of Assets, Liabilities and Reserves, the new ward of Awaroa Ki Tuakau will become part of the Waikato District Council from 1 November 2010. We need strong
effective representation more than ever before.

It is with Commitment, Experience and Dedication that I am seeking re−election as Ward Councillor for the Awaroa Ki Tuakau Ward.
