I am a born and bred resident of Foxton, being the Managing Director of Roaches Concrete Products Ltd since 1971. The first priority in my life is my commitment to my family; my wife Pauline, my son, 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren; all Foxton residents. 

My service to the community began in 1987 with 2 years as a Councillor with the Foxton Borough Council, until they amalgamated and became the Horowhenua District Council, where I served 9 years as a Councillor, and 21 years simultaneously as a Foxton Community Board member. 

I believe I have a wealth of experience, knowledge and dedication to give the Foxton Community Board and the residents of Foxton and Foxton Beach. I will continue to be prudent with the ratepayer's money and my philosophy is that I would never impose a decision on the ratepayers if it was a decision that I wasn't comfortable with being a ratepayer myself.
