Community Board chairman, local resident for over 30 years, family man, and experienced infrastructure engineer. I offer common sense, knowledge and integrity to make sensible things happen, and to  challenge things that should not. Auckland's new super city needs representatives of strong character without preset agendas to ensure: we do actually get some benefits; costs are controlled; and bureaucracy does not just 'take over'. Not obligated to any political or campaigning groups, I am a positive and decisive person who works hard to make a difference where needed and stands up for our communities. I strive to ensure all communities are supported equally and have a strong record working with people on worthy causes. With much experience and thorough knowledge in East Coast Bays, Hibiscus Coast, and Albany communities I fully understand and appreciate their needs. Fair, trustworthy, and sincere.
