A Manurewa councillor and a past chairperson of the Manurewa Community Board, Daniel is a proven advocate for local clubs, groups and community organisations. Daniel lives in Wattle Downs. He is an associate member of the Manurewa RSA, and he attends mass at St Anne's Catholic Church. A Justice of the Peace, Daniel volunteers at the Manurewa Citizens Advice Bureau. As a councillor, Daniel has voted to help secure millions of dollars to redevelop the Netball Manurewa Centre, the Manurewa Rubgy Football Club, and build a multi−sport facility on Mountfort Park. Daniel assisted with the formation of JC Spartans, which enables young men to play gridiron. He is also a member of the board of the Counties Manukau Cricket Association.
