Daniel is proud to be from the West, after graduating from Auckland University with a Bachelor of Arts Daniel spent time in Wellington working in Parliament while studying a Bachelor of Laws.
Having completed his law studies Daniel is now living in Henderson and commutes by train each morning into Auckland CBD where he works as a consultant for a public relations firm.
Daniel brings with him excellent relationships across a variety of sectors, from central and local government right through to business.
Daniel wants West Auckland to be the first choice for young people to live, work and bring up their families.
To achieve this will require leadership around strengthening and protecting our community, creating an affordable region to live and work in and providing the right opportunities for families to prosper.
This can only be achieved by having a strong C&R team representing you.
Daniel is also asking for your support to elect him to the Waitakere Licensing Trust.
Voluntary organisations, are the backbone of our community. The Waitakere Licensing Trust is a great example of a positive benefit that communities gain through the many millions of dollars from Trust donations, enabling voluntary organisations and volunteers to carry on the worthwhile work that you do.
Daniel is committed to ensuring the supply of alcohol is done in a socially responsible way and will campaign for trustees to have a greater say on commercial decisions, after all the trustees are there to represent you.
Daniel wants to make a visible difference by representing you and seeks your support for election to the Waitakere Licensing Trust.

- Community: Strengthening and protecting our vibrant communities
We need to feel safe in West Auckland. I will not tolerate anti-social behaviour on our streets and in our communities, and will advocate vigorously for effective policing.
At the same time I will encourage and support arts, sport and cultural activities across West Auckland. Working collaboratively with community, cultural and sports groups to build the facilities that our neighbourhoods expect of a world-class city. - Leadership: Leading positively and effectively
I will lobby Council to require full accountability from all Council Controlled Organisations (CCOs), and will expect them to deliver the best possible results for West Auckland. - Affordability: Creating an affordable city to live and work in
Living in Auckland can be expensive. I am determined to minimise the burden on households and businesses both urban and rural by extracting savings from the new, streamlined council arrangements.
I will campaign to keeping Auckland Council rates as low as possible without decreasing the core services that residents expect.
I promise to deliver you better value for money. - Transport: Making it easier to get around
I will commit to supporting essential public transport and roading infrastructure for people and goods.
At the same time I will ensure careful benefit cost consideration is undertaken before any ratepayers’ money is invested in these major projects. - Environment: Preserving and enhancing the Auckland region’s environment
I am proud of our unique environment here in the West.
I will preserve and protect our environmental assets, while allowing individuals the freedom to enjoy and improve their urban and rural private property.
High quality design and planning will be encouraged together with the sensible management of growth and development.
