I am asking for your vote to be Mayor.
I have been busy as a District Councillor for six years and Deputy Mayor for the last three years.
I have a sound track record of working for the community including many years as Chair of WINTEC's Building and Assets Committee, responsible for a $58 million building programme. I am a government appointee and currently Deputy Chair of Trust Waikato.
I have worked with Tainui and other river iwi as a government appointee to the Guardians of the River Establishment Committee.
I spent my working life as an engineering tradesman and industrial advocate. I have the skill and experience to lead Council through the changes ahead now that our district will border Auckland City.
Our district has a diverse population that makes it great and with your support I will work hard to ensure that all Waikato interests are considered.
