I own a Takapuna business with my eldest son and am a former CEO of Work and Income (WINZ). I'm an author, commentator and advocate against the child abuse epidemic in New Zealand. I'm a current board member of the Families Commission. I'm also a current councillor on the Auckland Regional Council being the highest polling North Shore candidate in 2007. I was raised and educated on the North Shore and I'm determined to preserve its unique, special heritage and lifestyle, and to ensure the city prospers in the new structure. The new Council gives us all the opportunity to do it right, and to get it right. I am a strong, courageous leader and I promise to work with whoever is elected to give you the best representation.
Please vote Christine Rankin for Auckland Council.

Conflicts of Interest
To the best of my knowledge and belief, I have no conflicts of interest with the Waitemata District Health Board at the date of my notice of consent to being nominated as a candidate for membership for the board of the District Health Board, and I do not believe that any such conflicts of interest are likely to arise in future.
