I've been one of three Greater Dunedin members of the Council for the last three years. I was elected to represent the Hills Ward and now I'm asking for the same support from the whole Central Ward. The city has very challenging financial problems and I want to continue to fight for its future well-being and success by bringing to the Council table my extensive experience as leader of one of Dunedin's most successful businesses, as a company director and as chair/member of several community and business organisations. I'm a graduate of Otago University and spent 20 years as General Manager of Fisher and Paykel's Mosgiel plant, where I earned a reputation for openness, honest leadership and a consultative management style. I have tried to bring the same standards to the Council table and to the many committees I have been a member of in my term as Councillor.
