A stronger community based on working together is what I believe in for Western Bay of Plenty. I am passionate about local communities and work energetically and tirelessly for their benefit. My goal is to bring a practical balance to the new council concentrating on economic growth and development, environmental protection, cultural awareness and community health and well−being. I have a proven track record including: Project managing the Massey University research project on restoring coastal ecosystems; Chairman of the Ngamanawa Hunting Club; Kaimai catchment advisory group; Te Puna School Board of Trustees; Omokoroa Historical Society member; 10 years experience with local government advisory groups; Project Manager for the Plummers Point − Huharua sub regional park Descending from Maori, English and German ancestors, I live with my partner in Te Puna where we have raised five children. I am a keen outdoorsman and hunter.
