I have served the community at several levels over the past forty years and can offer some sound business experience and advice gained from my business life as a qualified professional Secretary− Treasurer of some twenty five trade and business associations, a Mentor to the 'Business in the Community' scheme sponsored by North Shore City and independently as a Small Business Advisor. I have served the Takapuna [RSA] Services Bowling Club and Birkenhead Probus Club and currently I am an active supporter of the Auckland City Mission, Birkenhead Residents Association, Red Cross, Starship Foundation, Salvation Army, and the Poppy Day appeal. My intention is to ensure that new ideas are introduced with sound business practices which will benefit the Trust sponsored community organizations. Though the trust has produced good results, I believe that my experience and professional background should produce benefits and would make improvements to the licensing trust.
