Being 50+ yrs old, 3 adult children, foster son, 6 grandchildren. Have lived in Tuakau for 30 yrs, my children attended Harrisville, Tuakau College and Pukekohe High Schools. Throughout I have been involved in many committees, Harrisville School PTA−BOT, President College PTA, 25 Yrs at Tuakau Rugby Club, 6 yrs Sports Complex Trust, Tuakau Terrabulls,Tuakau Youth Centre, Gel It, Tuakau Youth Safety Committee, OTCB 2 terms, Franklin Integration Project, Aged Expo, Tuakau and District Development Association, Christmas Parades. I care about our Youth and Seniors living here. So it's a no brainer to get the Hamilton to Auckland Train OPERATING again. STATION STOP for TUAKAU! ALL LOCALS given opportunity of travel, allowing easier access to education, entertainment, visits to hospitals (Middlemore). Positively looking forward to the new roles we will play within the Waikato District Council and challenges of the newly formed 6 person, OTCB after elections.
