I will bring to the council table, over 30 years experience of successful business ownership on the Taieri, in both the Wool industry and the Horticulture industry. I am a Director on the Horticulture NZ covered crops committee. A Company Director and owner with my wife in the Horticulture company Aquarius Gardens. Having served on many organizations: a member of the Dunedin RSA Choir. Past member of the Stop the Stadium committee. Secretary Otago Vegetable Growers Association. Assisted with work experience for the unemployed. A priority when elected, will be to restore prudent fiscal management, reduce historical high levels of council debt without increasing council rates, and ensure increased transparency and integrity of council affairs, including the ongoing management of the new stadium. Mosgiel needs strong representation to resolve issues of the pool, the completion of the road link to the Industrial area, and promotion of the Industrial Area.
