Background - Elected to Council in 2007.

Age 41, married to Nicky with 4 school children. 4^th generation local, returned home 9 years ago after working in Dunedin for 12 years.

 

Experience – Extensive background in Finance & Business Management.

Currently a Financial Controller for a local businessman, after selling our family company New Vale Coal 4 years ago.

 

 As a Councillor, Trustee of West Gore School & Director of Gore Health Ltd, I believe I am well rounded (not just in stature) in the key areas of our Community.

 

Why vote for me – During my first term on Council I believe I have demonstrated teamwork, sound judgement, business acumen, leadership, common sense, integrity and a positive contribution to finding solutions. I am committed to making a difference/passionate about the opportunities for the District and would value the opportunity to serve the people of the Gore District for a further term.
