Rate Freeze Candidate

Bob is a former policeman (Dog Handler), and ACC Rehab Officer (17 years) but is perhaps best known as one of Wanganui’s leading real estate agents and a tireless organiser of popular Wanganui events like the Asian Food Festival, Wine Festival and this year’s NZ Bike Festival. He is 66 years of age, married to Lois, has two children and has been active in national and local politics. He is currently Wanganui’s elected member on the Regional Council. He is part of a regional group who have a common goal to bring in a rate freeze pegged at no more than the level of the cost of living for the next three years. To limit Horizon’s activities to its pure core functions only. To continue to listen to the wishes of the ratepayers of Wanganui and the region.
