I am standing for re- election to the Northland Regional Council.

Under the present councils stewardship regional council has $116,756,693.00 million in cash and assets. The council is debt free. Second lowest rate in the country.

 Rates are subsidised by 50% from other income.

We have 99% delivery on all resource consent applications within the statutory time limits.

Farm inspections 100% annually. Council has completed River flood risk reduction planning on 27 northland rivers.  Ongoing commitment to dredging of the Hatea River.

Strategies completed, Pest Management.  Regional transport. Road Safety. Regional Air Quality.

 We are now tracing river pollution back to it source.

My goal is to ensure the council is using sound business practises.

Northland Automobile Association councillor. On committees of Maunu Children’s Health Camp and Diabetes Northland. Rotarian 34 years. A trustee for Roadsafe  Northland and Whangarei RSA trust.  Owner of Rossiter Printing.  Road safety officer for 8 years.
