When I was elected and appointed BLT President 12 years ago, the Trust's grant record was poor. (Inflation adjusted average of about $65,000 pa). Today BLT operates from two successful venues, and the annual (sustainable) grants to Birkenhead community groups, schools, sports and charities is about $700,000. We have set the stage for further growth, but that growth must be tempered by judicious stewardship and cautious decision making. I humbly submit that I have demonstrated such qualities, and ask you to support me for a further term. All of the current Trustees have worked constructively and harmoniously this term, and all are worthy of your support.
