It's all about the balance. 

Productive land and healthy water ways are both essential to our lifestyle. 

I've seen a lot of the world but choose to live in the Eastern Bay of Plenty. It's home. My livelihood comes from the land; hunting, fishing, kayaking and biking are among my pleasures. 

I am a community minded person : Past Chair of Edgecumbe Primary B.O.T., Past V.P. Theatre Whakatane, Currently W.D.C. Councillor, Director Edgecumbe Lions, V.P. Eastern Bay Tri & Multisport Club. 

Community highlights include initiating the Rangitaiki River Fesitval, and establishing Te Onepu wetland. 

Personal challenges: Speights Coast to Coast, Motu Challenge, King of the Mountain, Monty's Revenge, Whale Island Swim. 

I believe my track record demonstrates, I will be a positive and pro−active Eastern Bay representative, on the Regional Council.
