In seeking a further term on the Ashburton District Council I will add a greater depth of experience to the urban voice, through a continuing interest in the advancement of this town and District, and recognition that there is more one can contribute toward progress. As in previous terms I will serve with dignity, dedication and commitment. This will not be an ego trip or pursuing a single issue ideal but rather one seeking to give the best consideration to the welfare of the people of the town and District. I will bring to the Council table a wealth of Local Body experience and local knowledge which is important for practical, stable and consistent decision making. My objectives will be to provide and ensure steady urban and district development to promote sound Council direction and to assist in providing a greater depth of leadership on behalf of the community.
