Raised and schooled in Manurewa, shopped at Farmers at Southmall, played for Manurewa and now raising my own family in Manurewa. I'm what they say 'rewa hard'. The Manurewa I knew as a young man has taken some hard knocks, but we're not down and out. Vote for me and I will work hard to bring pride back to our community. I will work to see our sports and communituy facilities upgraded, no more liquor stores, no more boy racers, continued financial support to the Beautification Trust for the good job they do removing graffiti. I don't want to see the interests of Manurewa be taken over by the interests of central Auckland. We have the lowest water charges in Auckland, let's keep it that way. Let's keep rates at levels that regular hard working families can afford. I'm your commonsense regular guy.
