The Dunedin City Council is deep in debt. We have to live within our means. Being a Mathematics teacher, I understand figures and the value of money. Your money. If elected, I bring this skill to council. I am a true Independent. I will not favour unworthy interest groups, who just want to spend your money. Dunedin is a beautiful city. We love its built heritage and its natural assets. Quite simply, I value citizens who support, not destroy, Dunedin's treasures. I also particularly support businesses that invest and reinvest in Dunedin. 'How can we help you?' must be a clear message the council sends out to businesses that provide jobs for our people. I have already proved over the last four years, including my time as Stop the Stadium president, that I ask hard questions and expect straight answers. I want a fair go for all of Dunedin's citizens.
