My 15 yrs as Councillor, chairmanships and deputy include Tamaki Estuary Protection Group, Safety & Community Committee, environment, planning, economic development, strategic, works, community development board and or trustees of Tourism Auckland, MOTAT, N.Z. Museum, PTA, school board, local rugby club, Community Board, Rotary, Lions Clubs, Justice of the Peace Ass., since 1988, Auckland Regional Growth Forum, pony club, junior rugby & senior coach, club captain, snr team manager. 20 yrs Residents & Ratepayers assn., 5 yrs as chairman of Beachlands R&R Ass. and five yrs and the original and founder chair of the Halfmoon Bay R&R Assn., Incorporation. Leader and organiser of the 1995 Mururoa Peace flotilla − protesting against nuclear bomb testing in the Pacific. Past member Whitford, Maraetai, Beachlands and the N.Z. multihull yacht clubs.
