Proprietor Pharmacist. Age: 59 years Married with two adult children. Current Lakes DHB Board member. Community Pharmacist. Taupo resident and business owner since 1976. Chairman of Drug and Alcohol Support Taupo Trust. Member and past president of Rotary Club of Taupo Moana. I have had a long community involvement with the primary health, business, education and sporting sectors in Taupo over a number of years. My pharmacy occupation and my involvement with the mental health (Addiction) and educational sectors, has exposed me to a wide range of primary health issues. I am currently director in two private companies and one large pharmacy co−operative. It is important that current MOH initiatives for the sector, including Whanau Ora, start to deliver better health outcomes for our community. I look forward to continuing to represent you on the Lakes District DHB as an elected member.

Conflicts of Interest

To the best of my knowledge and belief, I have no conflicts of interest with the Lakes District Health Board as at the date of my notice of consent to being nominated as a candidate for membership on the Lakes District Health Board, and I do not believe that any such conflicts of interest are likely to arise in the future but for the following ongoing conflict of interest with the Lakes District Health Board current as at the date of my said notice of consent: Director in a retail pharmacy that holds a dispensing contract with Lakes DHB. Trustee in the Addiction Resource Centre Trust Taupo, that receives funding from the Lakes DHB. and the following potential conflict of interest with the Lakes District Health Board that may arise in the future: Lakes DHB appointed trustee on the Taupo Hospice Trust.
