I have been on the Mosgiel Taieri Community Board for six years and have been Chairman for the past three. I have enjoyed my time on the Board and believe that I have been effective in my role as Chairman. I am very passionate about the area I have lived in for 35 years and I have watched it grow as one of the most progressive towns in the country. The Board has made significant progress and achieved results by putting forward compelling arguments to the Council. I strongly believe we can still achieve more, like the new swimming pool complex for Mosgiel and achieve finality to upgrading and making safe our roads across the Taieri. There is more to do and I would like to be there to complete what we have started.
