Annette Busch is keen to promote the city as a destination, encourage new employment, reasonably priced housing and a range of leisure facilities.

She is calling for transparency with city council decision making and open accounting methods to identify where ratepayers' cash is actually spent.

She is concerned at escalating city debt and needless council expenditure and wants rate rises to be controlled as both residential and commercial rates affect homeowners and those in rented homes alike.

Annette has had 30 years experience in radio, television and newspapers. 

She has had extensive experience in relationship building and communication.

Her community service has included Carols by Candlelight at Hamilton Lake, Waikato Bay of Plenty Telethon and Keep Hamilton Beautiful. Annette is the proud mother of two fine daughters. She wants to see a progressive Hamilton becoming a city which offers an attractive and affordable place to live, work and raise families.
