I have served for a term on the Onewhero−Tuakau Community Board and wish to continue serving as a member of the Board. I have lived all my married life in this district and am now watching my grandchildren and extended family growing up here. This gives me a vested interest in continuing to work to make the Onewhero−Tuakau ward a great place in which to live, work and play. The growth predictions for the town of Tuakau and its surrounding area will affect the residents of the township and the wider rural community. Becoming part of the new Waikato District will present challenges and I hope with your support, to be part of a group that will help steer our community into a happy future under Waikato District Council. I ask for your support to enable me to be your representative on the Onewhero−Tuakau Board.
