Angela and her husband Bill Marino have lived in Manurewa for 35 years. Both are long serving Police officers. Angela is based at the Manurewa Police Station, where she was recently recognised with an award for 28 years of continuous service. A member of the Manurewa Community Board since October 2007, Angela has worked alongside her Action colleagues to advocate for improved facilities and infrastructure in Manurewa. After losing her mother to complications from diabetes, and recognising the high incidence of diabetes within her community, Angela understands the importance of health and fitness. During her free time, if you don't see her running or walking the streets of Manurewa, you will often find Angela at a local gym where she serves as a fitness instructor. She is passionate about giving women opportunities and the confidence to make better lifestyle choices. Please vote for all Manurewa Action Team candidates.
