New City Fresh Start

It is now your opportunity to select people you believe can shape the future of Auckland and create an environment for your family and businesses to grow. It is your chance to make the difference, by voting for change and electing those who will defend your rights to be heard and bring transparency in Governance.  To overcome the problems that have lead to congestion on our roads, by increasing the scope of public transport and car parking where needed.

I want a strong Albany and Upper Harbour board that communicates listens and acts. I want to be part of a board that brings life to our open spaces, playing fields, parks and beaches alike and is ready to restore our rivers and creeks so they too can be enjoyed now and by future generations.

Top 5 Issues

  1. Shaping the future of Auckland creating the environment for family and businesses to grow. by set in place the building blocks that will connect this city and removing the obstacles set in place by successive councils that have failed to deliver the basics
  2. Biuld a strong Albany and Upper Harbour board that listens communicates and acts As we create a better and prosperous Auckland
  3. Further Development of the park and ride carparks and development of a link bus services to all sectors of the community as the demade requires
  4. Development of leisure/swimming facilities to meet demands of Auckland’s fastest growing communities
  5. Safe Access and restoration of our waterways parks and open spaces so they too can be enjoyed now and by future generations. As we create a better and prosperous Auckland

Personal Profile

First and foremost I am a family man who found  out long ago that if you wanted change you had to get involved and this started of my journey into local politics

Until then my career path had been varied with starting in the health industry then the Oil Industry before becoming professional sailor that introduced me to the Tourism industry, positions that have taken me to all quarters of the world and given me the opportunity to meet people from diverse cultures and background who have intern introduced me to their cities and given me an insight on how they have developed, for better or worse

Also I have also given my time to organisation such as:

Auckland Adventure Operators group                                   Group Chair

Ridge View Primary School                                                  Board Chair

Paremoremo Community Club                                            Board Member

Floating Classroom project                                                 Board Chair

Rosedale Park trust                                                           Board member

Sustainable Paremoremo                                                   Board Member

Albany Community Board                                                   Deputy Chair

Which have and still keep me in touch with the grass roots of our communities who like us all share the frustration that have been placed on us by successive councils  Which once elected I will do my best to change
