Andrew has lived in Auckland since 1978 calling Piha home.  He holds a BComm /LLB and has worked offshore including several years as a Director of MTV Networks Europe in London.  

Since returning to Piha Andrew has committed to Waitakere and  passionate about the West.  He has steered local company Parex Industries to solid growth every year.  He and his mates won the right to build and operate a now popular Café at Piha.   He also helped launch mother’s website Mums-On-Top, was Founding Chairman of the NZ Hot Water Association and contributed to Project K, Ronald McDonald House and Paw Justice charities.

Andrew is a fresh face who can help Auckland reach its considerable potential.  He has the right blend of community awareness and professional experience to make an effective contribution in today’s world.

5. Transport:
   Making it easier to get around. Improved planning, infrastructure and public transport all have a part to play here to getting Auckland moving again. This will be one of the major challenges as Auckland population continues to grow.
