Who you the voters choose at this election, will be critical to the future of the Henderson−Massey community, it is important that you elect able, experienced and determined candidates to the Local Board. My qualifications are, 36 years as an elected member of local government overlapping with 37 years as a local government officer. I have been a ratepayer and resident for over 40 years, and over that time active in the community, as a member of two school committees and PTA's, a leader with the Massey Scout Group, founding and life member of the Massey Athletic Club, Charter member and president of the Massey Lions Club and President and member of the Huapai−Kumeu Lions Club, two Ratepayer Associations, President and children's manager of the Te Pai Park Tennis Club a Justice of the Peace and marriage celebrant. My interests are my community, family, wife, children and ten grandchildren.

1. No 1 is to ensure that all local boards gain as much control and say over the issues in their communities as possible as soon as possible.
2. No 2 is to act on issues raised by the community to ensure the best outcomes for the greater benefit of the whole community.
