I'm standing for election because council's economic and financial governance is dangerously out of control, with all sorts of shonky rip−offs occurring. 

Many improper practices such as slush funds, double−dipping, and illegal rates are costing ratepayers millions of dollars annually. 

Council has alarmingly admitted that secret "off the books" financial transactions occur. 

But "off the books" money, blatantly acknowledges the existence of "slush funds", and raises many serious questions. 

How can such illegal "black" funds exist? Where does that money come from? Where does that money go to? 

The existence of undeclared slush funds further concedes that council's annual−plans are incomplete and deceptive. 

Worse still those fabricated annual−plans are the very basis for calculating your rates, which means that rates also reflect that same deception. 

Council cannot be allowed to continue this cancerous culture. 

If elected I will put an end to these alarming scams.
