Community Boards are a forum to encourage expression of community views and debate. Although regulated by Council and the local Government Act, the Community Board has a moral obligation to consider wider issues and to provide a working relationship with police, social services and assist the fire service with their educational programmes.
I invite you all to use my values, enthusiasm and integrity to represent you on the Rangiora Community Board. Through me, speak to Council on matters of concern to you, and increase the transparency of a lot of council decisions.
Currently I am a member of the Rangiora Advisory Board, the Milton Ave Memorial Reserve Dog park discussion group, the Public Transport Advisory Group,(Environment Canterbury), and the Rangiora Town Centre 2020 Steering committee. I am also a volunteer driver for the North Canterbury Mini Bus Trust, the Presbyterian Support Services and a Rangiora Community Watch member.
