Alan has lived and worked in Panmure/Mt Wellington all his life and has 12 years experience on the Tamaki Community Board. Alan is President of the Mt Wellington Licensing Trust and sits on the board of Trust Hotels and its Audit and Finance Committees. He has been a boat builder and cabinet−maker and is currently a full−time builder. Alan has had extensive sporting interests including cricket, football, basketball, gun−dog trialling, racing pigeons and also breeds thoroughbred race horses. He's a life member of both North and South Auckland gun−dog clubs. Alan has worked with the Tamaki Special Olympics movement for 10 years. "My priorities are to reinstate projects from the previous Council budget including the Glen Innes Town Centre upgrade, MAGIC (Glen Innes Music and Arts Centre) and provision for new parks and reserves in our rapidly growing Tamaki area. Please vote for all Labour and City Vision candidates."
